EIDO allows jobs and job information to be created and sent between administration staff and field workers using job forms. The job forms are flexible and allow for a number of options including:
EIDO replaces paper forms and optimises field work processes through the ability to send data back to base immediately rather than waiting on paper forms or verbal reports. EIDO job forms can be filled out on a mobile optimised version of the website or iPhone or iPad App (Android in development).
EIDO’s App is simple to use with the ability to run on iPad and iPhone devices. The App stores information locally giving the option to run without a network signal. Background syncing allows the App to sync with the server once it detects a data connection. Photos are also stored locally until deleted. Once the work is sent to the server, it can then be checked and signed off with EIDO’s Quality Review Module.
The Quality Review Module allows management and supervisory staff to sign off on the work that is completed by Field Officers. This is an opportunity for staff to acknowledge and make notes about completed tasks. Only specific staff with correct access permissions can sign off on work within the QR Module or create jobs.
Access permissions are set up in groups. This will allow staff to set up user groups with specific access permissions. EIDO can also adapt access permissions to its Customer Module.
The Customer Module allows EIDO user’s to set up a Customer Relationship Management system. This module collects customers/clients contact details. Jobs are then linked to customer details.
EIDO can create Client Modules for users. These modules show the clients of the EIDO user specific tailored information. An example of this is a poster company that places posters on poles and gives them to cafes. They set up a client module for their major client to allow them to see client specific GPS co-ordinates, addresses and numbers distributed in a week. A pindrop map is shared to visually show their clients where their adverts are posted.
EIDO can display its GPS data and associated job data on a pindrop map. This allows the user to visually see where most of their work is being conducted.
EIDO’s export function allows it to create CSV files. These CSV files can be used in Excel for additional data mining or implemented into third party programs.
EIDO’s servers are set up to allow a staging server and a user production server. This allows for EIDO personnel to create additional features and test them for bugs without affecting the work of EIDO field users.
