Q. In a nutshell, what is EIDO?
A. EIDO is a system for allocating work tasks and recording job information. It is designed to replace paper forms, increase work flow and collect insightful data about your business
Q. Does EIDO record GPS locations?
A. Yes, EIDO does record GPS locations allowing management to see where work has been conducted and to provide a visual display of work completed.
Q. What happens if I am out of 3g or 4g service range?
A. EIDO stores data locally on your phone or tablet when no network data range is present. It will then remind you to send the data once the app is re-opened for the next job.
Q. Does it work with Android or other smart phones?
A. It only works with Apple iPhone at the moment but it is under development for Android. The EIDO website is mobile optimised and can be used with any smartphone.
Q. How does it minimise human error?
A. It minimises human error by removing double handling (e.g. re-writing and transferring information from paper to spreadsheet).
Q. Does EIDO record how long it takes for each job? Duration of task?
A. Yes EIDO does record how long it takes for each job/task.
Q. Can I customise EIDO for my specific business?
A. Yes you can! EIDO staff will be happy to help. EIDO is agile and adapts to your business processes. You retain your ways of working and EIDO increases efficiency.
Q. Can I export the data I collect?
A. Yes, EIDO can export information as a CSV file which can be read by Microsoft Excel.
Q. Does EIDO have the capacity to manage work method statements and risk assessments?
A. The EIDO fields can be manipulated to provide a generic work method statement for the worker in the field to fill out and send back. Risk assessment fields can also be generated for the field worker to complete.
Q. How much training do my employees need to use EIDO?
A. EIDO is intuitive and designed to be very simple to use. It will imitate your existing paper data recording process.
