Agile Software Development And How It Is Applied To EIDO

25 August 2015

This Article will talk about what Agile Software Development is and how it is applied to EIDO.

Agile Software Development in a nutshell

Agile Software Development is essentially the ability to be reactive and proactive to the clients needs and wants. This means that the project is continually assessed throughout its life.

The Agile Methodology website talks about this in more in depth.

How is it applied to EIDO?

EIDO has been developed from the ground up to be flexible. So we have plenty of wriggle room to identify what new and existing clients are after. This idea of being flexible goes hand in hand with it being Agile.

EIDO staff are in constant communication with clients and internal stakeholders. This allows us to hear all points of views about where each element of the project is standing and how it can be improved. This constant re-assessment is what makes it Agile. The statement “We should do this, this and this” is continually heard and followed through. This benefits the client, the project and the clients customers.

There are some aspects that are not applied, such as “sprints”.
